Tomorrow morning there is Mass at 9am. Then on Sunday we celebrate the Epiphany at both the 9:15am and 11am morning Mass. The celebrations continue in the evening with the Epiphany Carol Service at 6:30pm. Do come and join us for a service of lessons and favourite Epiphany carols, to be followed by refreshments. The magi having replaced the shepherds in our crib.
Next week there will be no low mass as both Fr. Nicholas and I will be attending a conference in Rome with the Confraternity of Catholic Clergy to which we both proudly belong. The programme is very exciting with key note addresses being given by Cardinals Burke, Pell, Di Noia and Amato. On the Tuesday we will be vesting for the papal Mass of the Epiphany at St. Peter’s basilica.
A normal schedule of services will resume in Pembury on our return. Beginning a week on Saturday. And we hope to have a special guest preacher for the Sunday as Fr. Joseph Aduse is in the UK! A blessed and holy Epiphany to all our readers.
