Father Aduse in Goaso, Ghana
Since 2000 the parish has sponsored children in Ghana via a link developed between Saint Anselm's and the diocese of Goaso in Ghana.
Father Joseph Aduse, who serves there, became a well loved friend and regular visitor to Pembury.
At present 14 children are sponsored but we hope to increase this number in the future.
The current children are Abigail, Sandra, Claudia, Theresa I, Theresa II, Theresa III, Dorothy, Elvis, Augustine, Joseph, Lawrence, Emmanuel I, Emmanuel II, and Thomas.
At present sponsorship covers primary school education, food and resources.

In 2013 Fr. Ed met with Father Joseph Aduse to discuss how the partnership might be further strengthened and developed.
Our hope is to raise future giving to enable us to support children into secondary school and, where it is merited, university.
